I have been bike racing for 13 years at the Category 3 and Category 2 road racing level, and have just about every bike fit you can think of. No disrespect to past “fitters” but they always seem to leave you feeling like it fell just short of perfect and left issues unaddressed. To say my first experience getting my bike fit with Scott Stein of Balanced was a highly beneficial experience would be an understatement. I had been dealing with extreme knee pain which quickly subsided within 1 to 2 weeks of the preliminary bike fit on my new bike. Normally it takes weeks to get truly acclimated to a new bike fit. I was racing by that weekend and was able to sustain more watts in and out of the saddle. It was almost too good to be true. My knees felt perfectly aligned and had great full pedal strokes without feeling like I was 10’ in the air and my torso was perfectly stretched out and was able to get air to my lunges 100%. I have had follow up adjustment fits after changing shoes and also having my track bike fitted as well. I experienced nothing but absolute satisfaction from these adjustments and fits. The process is pretty cool and clearly is head and shoulders above any fit system out there. I refer Balanced to everyone who is a serious racer or a cycling enthusiast like my dad. As a business owner myself I appreciate someone dedicated to their craft and that provides the absolute best service.
If you are serious about feeling good on the bike and getting the most out of racing, riding, or whatever you do, this bike fit is a must and is worth every penny.
